Who we are

This website is run by Upledger Community Programmes CIC, a community interest company registered in England and Wales, company number 10566142, registered office 196 Surrenden Road, Brighton, BN1 6NN.

We are the data controller for the information described here. If you have any question about your information, write to us at [email protected].

What this site collects

Almost nothing.

There is no analytics on this site, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and we do not set cookies. We cannot tell who has visited, and we are not trying to.

The only information we hold is what you send us yourself, through the contact form or by emailing or ringing us.

If you use the contact form

You give us your name, your email address and whatever you write in the question box. We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else. You will not be added to a mailing list, and we will not pass your details to anyone.

We ask you not to put detailed medical information in the form. If your question needs that level of detail, it is better talked through properly, and we will suggest a way to do that.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us something and we need your details to answer. If you would rather we did not hold your message once we have replied, say so and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are deleted within three months.

The exception is if you become a client, or we are still in conversation with you about your enquiry, in which case your message is kept with the rest of your records for as long as we need it.

Who else is involved

Cloudflare host this website and carry your enquiry from the form to our inbox. They do not store the message.

Google provide the email account the enquiry arrives in, so your message sits in our inbox in the ordinary way.

Google Fonts supply the typefaces on these pages. Loading them means your device asks Google’s servers for the font files, which tells Google your IP address. We are not sending them anything else, and we get nothing back about you.

Cloudflare and Google are both based in the United States, so your information may be handled outside the UK. Both operate under the safeguards the UK recognises for transfers of this kind.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop using it, or object to us holding it at all. There is no charge, and we will answer within a month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or ring them on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top.
